– Pick up from the hotel or an agreed meeting point.
– Transfer from Krakow to the memorial in an air-conditioned minibus (1.5 h)
– English speaking guided tour of Auschwitz I (2 h)
– transfer to Auschwitz II camp
– English speaking guided tour of Auschwitz II (1.5 h)
– Return trip to Krakow (1.5 h)

Departure from Krakow will be from an agreed meeting point or directly from your hotel, depending on arrangements.
Upon arrival, an English-speaking guide will lead you through the main camp (Auschwitz I). The tour starts at the gate with the cynical inscription “Arbeit macht frei”. For better comprehension of the explanations, each participant will be equipped with a group guide system. This is an audio-radio system where each listener receives a small receiver and headphones to which the tour is transmitted via microphone. This allows for an uninterrupted tour even in the most confined spaces.
The tour program includes prisoner blocks with permanent exhibitions documenting the process of extermination in the concentration camp, as well as the “Wall of Death” and Crematorium I with gas chamber.
The guided tour of the main camp lasts 2 hours. Afterwards a shuttle bus will take you to the Birkenau camp (Auschwitz II), the place of systematic extermination.
At the railroad ramp, where the transports of deportees arrived, the “process” of selection will be explained to you. The ruins of gas chambers II and III with crematoria, ponds with ashes of hundreds of thousands of people and prisoners’ barracks are another part of the tour of Birkenau camp, which lasts about 1.5 hours.

After the sightseeing we will return to Krakow, the whole tour lasts 6.5 hours.
